Book face and such

Ahoy! Remember my The Book Depository Purchase?

Image19 It has arrived! (Also, I’m in Rome! Not Really.)

So we can now file this online purchase under the Great Success! folder. It took 13 days for the book to get here, but that’s just because I opted for my book to be shipped to the boondocks. It doesn’t matter; at least the book arrived straight to my doorstep! No more additional shipping fees from the post office! Hurrah! (It may not seem like it, but I am fugging excited about this. All the possibilities!) Other people from the PH who also bought from the site got their copies in a week. So if you’re not from far-flung Cavite like I am, the chances of getting your book in 8 to 10 days is pretty high.

Image20 It also came with this very cute bookmark. Nice touch, TBD folks!

I’ve been meaning to write more beauty-related entries, but guess what – I forgot my camera in Taguig. (That’s why I had to bring you to Rome to take a picture. LOL.) All the girly, beauty-related entries will resume soon; I promise. I bought some stuff lately and I’ve been trying them out. So far, so good.

Also, I’ve rediscovered 90s TV. Do Clarissa Explains It All, Eerie Indiana (I marathoned the entire season in 2 days, guys!), and The Adventures of Pete and Pete mean anything to you? For now, this is all I have: getting a book in the mail is the most exciting thing to happen to me lately, which I hope will change soon.

In which I bore you to death about my book purchases

If lipstick is the economic indicator for the fashionable, mine would be books. Seeing that I am not fashionable to begin with, and lipstick is definitely one beauty product that I refuse to buy cheap, books became my poor man's opium.

Oh hai, I'm a pirate, a pervy-looking pirate.

Want to know a great way to organize your make-up?

One of the problems I've had after I moved in to my condo a few weeks back was how to organize all my clutter. I have to confess, I am never really neat when it comes to my things. You can say I am a Secret   Slob in a way. But in my defense, it was more because of the lack time to really get my hands dirty *excuses, excuses*. OK, maybe a little procrastination, too. LOL.

Anyway, a bulk of the things I brought with me when I moved was, of course, my humble make-up and brush collection. I never knew I have amassed so much in a span of 10 months! Make-up enthusiast will agree with me when I say that make-up can really be addicting. Do I hear a resounding "Aye!" from you, ladies?

To remedy this, I scoured the net to for the best way to organize my make-up. I figured make-up bags will not cut it anymore so I opt for a sturdier alternative
