It's been a year since I listed my makeup wish list and bought almost everything on it! It's a good thing I kept that list so as to have a perspective on what and what not to buy. This time, with more than a year of dabbling with makeup, I again make up a list to keep me on track with my purchases. Hey, makeup is great, but not all good products come cheap! It's a good thing I never get to learn that the hard way.
1. NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. It's really true when they say that "Once you've gone MAC, you'll never look back." I know I haven't! I love my pressed foundation and concealer that both came from MAC, but after swatching Liz's NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, I am ready to reconsider.

Suesh of course. I've always loved their line of brushes so you would expect that I have my eyes set on their flat top foundation brush.
3. MAC Pink Nouveau. I never really got around to buying my one true love red lipstick, Lancome's L' Absolu Rouge in Rouge Rayonnant, but Avon's Ultra Moisture Rich Rose Gold Lipstick in Exclusive Pink is a good alternative for now. And as much as I don't need any more lipstick, I have gotten tired of my usual nude shades. This time, I'm ready to go bold!
MAC's Pink Nouveau receives a lot of glowing reviews among bloggers, but I couldn't get myself to buy a shocking pink shade. I've always thought this pink shade will never look good with my complexion, but, man, was I wrong! When I saw how great it looked on my friend, I never wanted anything but to sport this particular pink shade myself! Gaya gaya lang!
4. A bronzer. Getting that fake tan with the use of a bronzer is one of those makeup must-have skills that I never got to learn. There's no one to blame than myself for looking like a Cullen wannabe in pictures.
I have no particular brand in mind so far, but Urban Decay's Baked Bronzer and Chanel's 5-shade bronzer are two non-cheap alternatives that I have come across. Thoughts?
Lastly, I still have my eye set on Urban Decay's Naked palette, but with the waiting list that comes with it, a girl like me can only wish.
And so far, that's it! I am glad to see that my makeup wish list gets shorter and shorter every year, a clear indication that I am not that addicted yet! Makeup is fun and a great hobby all in all, but if you don't know what works for you, you can end up burning thousands of cash for nothing.
How about you, guys? What's on your list?
