The “Magic” of Eyebrow Shaping

Before I started going gaga over make-up, the one thing that I really spent money on are my eyebrows. I was not blessed with a well-shaped pair so I take it as a duty to have it constantly trimmed and shaped the right way. I have tried all sorts of beauty parlors– both high-end and cheap ones – and just like haircuts, it really does depend on your eyebrow threader’s skill and not on where you have it done.

For the past year, I have been shaping my eyebrows, plucking a bit here and there just to maintain its shape. But lately, it seems as if my eyebrow-shaping skills are not doing me any good no matter how many DIY articles I read. That’s when I decided to have my brows grow so a professional can do it.

My go-to look but with NYX in Thalia instead of MAC Cosmo this time. I also used the Myra E Vitaglow Tinted Moisturizer as a make-up base.

Here's another look before I let my eyebrows take over my face. Still presentable, but not as well groomed as I wanted it to be.

I think the last time I had me brows "fixed" was last year when I had a shoot for a morning show (feeling artista LOL). And then I just maintained it every now and then. I wish I could grow my natural brows back and have them redone -- BUT! -- I'm not comfortable going out with unkempt brows hehe.

Lyn, same here!

Kira, I didn't wear make-up for a week so my eyebrows won't be highlighted. Haha, it was pretty embarrassing to have Oscar the Grouch brows.
